Visit the Medina and enjoy the Moroccan bath culture in a Tangier Hammam
Tangier preserves some of the oldest baths and hammams in Morocco. The Hammam is a steam bath and is made up of different baths; each at different temperatures in several rooms and is a very traditional way of bathing and massage.
The tour starts in the old Medina. We’ll go through the small walking streets of the Kasbah to understand how the locals live. We’ll visit their public bakeries, the spice & Berber markets.
You’ll also learn and have some history of the Arab neighborhoods.
The Arab Bath Hammam helps you reduce stress, allows deep relaxation, firming the skin, activate the blood circulation and offer many other benefits.
There are several Arab baths in Tangier where you will be able to enjoy a traditional hammam: hot and cold water bath, relaxing massage…
We will first visit the old Medina, the small walking streets of the Kasbah, public bakeries, the spice & Berber markets. Then we’ll start the hammam Arab bath experience.
As in its origin, the Arab baths are made up three spaces at different temperatures and which give their name to the hot, warm and cold rooms. Each client is free to choose their own route through these spaces while respecting our team’s guidelines for use in order to enjoy an optimum experience of tradition.
The route is completed with a massage.
You will feel transported in time. Allow yourself to be guided on a journey through the exotic sensuality of the mythical Hammam.
